Mentorship for children of mentally ill parents

We are looking for committed people who would like to take on a mentorship for a child aged 0 - 6 years and give them a good time for 2-3 hours once a week. Often children of mentally ill parents take on tasks at an early age that their peers with healthy parents would not take on. The aim is to give these children a child-friendly, relaxed time outside the family home and to gain a reference person. The parents also benefit from these hours, as they can recharge their batteries during this time.

Your Tasks

You go on excursions with the child, go to the playground, you play at home, ride your bike, ...

What's needed

You should be at least 18 years old, open to further education and not be afraid of people with mental illness. Your home should be suitable for children, as the sponsorship will also take place at your home.

A police certificate of good conduct is required for the exercise of the commitment. We support you with the application (we have a template that can be used).

Time required

You can arrange your working hours with the family, desired would be 1 time per week for 2-3 hours.
