About the volunteering opportunity
Watch our video about the project here!
Every second person in Germany is affected by discrimination. In order to prevent psychological stress - as well as the effects on society - there needs to be space to process what has been experienced. A center is to be established in Berlin where those affected by discrimination can be sustainably strengthened and empowered. In addition, society is to be sensitized to the effects of discrimination - through projects by those affected themselves.
The focus here is on art, music and movement as a medium.
We are currently in the project development phase and applying for funding. We do not yet have a fixed location (The Wellbeing Center), but we give free workshops several times a month in Berlin-Neukölln and Kreuzberg. We need support with PR and public relations in order to make the public aware of us and, above all, for those affected to find our free workshops.
Your Tasks
Possible areas of activity where you can get involved:
- PR and public relations
What's needed
- Good knowledge of English
Time required
Since the training period is always quite time-consuming and personal, we would be pleased if the interested person has at least 10 hours a week to support us for at least 3 months.

Wellbeing for Everyone gUG
"Wellbeing for Everyone" is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting diversity, wellbeing and social inclusion through creative methods at various locations in Berlin.
We are committed to giving socially disadvantaged people a sense of belonging, promoting their personal growth and creating a strong sense of cohesion within communities. To achieve this, we use art, music and movement as interactive methods. These help to create a positive group feeling, connections and even friendships between people who did not know each other before.
Our programs and workshops aim to promote resilience and counteract problems caused by discrimination and social isolation. We also develop concepts in international exchange projects to increase well-being and a sense of belonging in various disadvantaged communities.
In our new project, we are expanding our approach. We creatively generate a shared ecological awareness and thus strengthen a sense of belonging and social cohesion.
