Lenste children's and youth camp

The Lenste children's and youth holiday camp organized by Sportjugend Braunschweig has been bringing together children and young people aged 7-17 as well as the dedicated supervisors for over 40 years. Every year we spend two weeks during the summer vacation in a tent camp on the Baltic Sea. In addition, the counselors meet in advance to prepare for the camp and on a voluntary basis throughout the year, for example at the Christmas market or at the regulars' table.

Your Tasks

• Supervision of children during the camp in the summer vacation
• Participation in the preparation sessions on 3 weekends in the period from April to June
• You are welcome to contribute your interests and skills in handicrafts, sports, photography, design, etc.

What's needed

• Interest in giving children and young people a good time
• Commitment to planning leisure time and possible activities

Time required

• Two weeks during the summer vacation
• 3 weekends from April to June and one in October

The Sportjugend Braunschweig is the youth organization of the Stadtsportbund Braunschweig e.V. (SSB) and is active in the field of sports and general youth work. It promotes sport as part of youth work, offers various educational opportunities and organizes youth and vacation camps.
