Everyday helper for remodeling work or shopping

Room B in Buchheim is a larger intercultural center in Cologne. The center is a meeting place for all citizens of the district; people with and without an immigrant background meet here. With events and demand-oriented offers, we contribute to a stable networking among each other and social integration - for a respectful and peaceful coexistence.

For the support of our team, we are looking for a practical and handicraft-savvy everyday helper, who can help us with any necessary reconstruction or set-up work, for example due to an event. It can also be that we want to hang up a shelf or pictures and need someone who can support us with energy and possibly some tools.

Your Tasks

Manual tasks, such as tightening screws on our chairs, drilling holes, now and then assisting with remodeling work.

Time required

We need an everyday helper who will help us at more or less regular intervals with handicrafts or occasionally do some major shopping with us. Appointments and time can vary greatly, depending on what is currently pending and will of course always be agreed upon and discussed together.

The Interkulturelle Zentrum Raum B is a meeting and learning place for immigrants. We offer language courses, mother-child courses, refugee and migration counselling and various leisure activities.
