Spirit of Football - Support for our soccer program in the first reception center in Mockau

Soccer connects!

With our offer to play and train soccer, we want to pass on the spirit of sports and soccer to refugees. We play and train together with young people from different nations every Monday from 10 am to 12 pm. Possible would also be an afternoon offer on another day in the week.

You design your volunteer work yourself. Help us to support people and give them a good time. Do you want to be a part of it? Then please contact us at any time. :)

Your Tasks

Playing football together with people. This includes warming up, tips at best and leading small football games.

What's needed

What you bring with you?

• Open-mindedness and a respectful and patient approach to people regardless of their age, gender, identity, religion, ethnic and cultural background.
• It is an advantage if you speak another language, but it is not a must.

Time required

Important notice

Please bring sportswear. Other equipment is on site. 

The Johanniter are active in refugee work throughout Germany. In the various accommodation models, the care, safety and support of the people after their escape are ensured. The focus is not only on the arrival itself, but above all on their integration into society. The Johanniter want to help people who come to Germany feel welcome here.
