About the volunteering opportunity
TALKING TIME FOR YOU is an accessible and protected listening room in a public space, where trained listeners listen to you and are there for you. Here you can express everything you want to share about yourself and your life: worries, fears or sorrow, but also about beautiful moments and what brings you joy. We would train and guide you in a workshop to become a good listener. The right listening also helps you for your whole life. From our point of view, relationship of any kind comes from listening.
Your Tasks
As a listener, you just listen to other people and build a relationship with the person across from you. Three hours a week would be your commitment. It is a great pleasure and the best way to live democracy. Because you let the other stand, as he is.
What's needed
Minimum age is 24 years. The listeners are trained by us. The most important thing is that you like to work with people.

We start with a listening kiosk, open to all - free of charge. It is a protected place for listening and appreciation. Visitors tell stories confidentially, anonymously. Trained listeners listen without judgement. This experience is intended to sensitise people to listen to each other, in order to promote tolerance and acceptance in our interaction.
