About the volunteering opportunity
Our Intercultural Centre in Cologne offers a variety of services for immigrant people. These include courses to learn German or English, women's groups, a sewing class and much more.
Almost all offers currently only take place digitally, except for our children's club. Here, between two and five children of pre-school age are supervised by a pedagogue who would be happy to have volunteer support. On one or two mornings a week, we play together, read and playfully learn the German language.
If you are interested in joining the children's club, please contact Jana Jüssen. Experience with children would be nice, but is not a prerequisite.
Your Tasks
Support of the pedagogue in the children's club. Through playing, singing and reading aloud, children of immigrants are taught the German language.
What's needed
Enjoy working with children and have one to two mornings a week.
